To invest in the mental and sexual health of sexual minorities by creating a functioning safe house, mental health clinic and a one stop shop.
To work with relevant stakeholders to cater, protect and promote social and mental health of individuals of the community, most importantly, minorities through advocacy, community mobilisation, capacity building, skill acquisition, service delivery and to create therapies that embraces the positive view of the LGBTQIAAP community identities, relationships and addresses the negative influences that homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, queerphobia and heterosexism have on the lives of LGBTQIAAP clients.

-To contribute to advocacy in executing laws and policies that protects rights of marginalized groups and individuals.
-To collaborate with like-minded organizatiions towards addressing sexual and mental health needs of the sexual minorities.
-To provide a functioning Media house to educate and address community related issues.

HOI is a sexual minority based organization and its program activities will be reaching out to key affected populations of men who have sex with men which include:
- Elite MSM
- Married MSM
- Uniform Service MSM
- Male to Male transactional sex workers
- Transgender male and female
- MSM living with HIV/AIDS
- Injecting and non-injecting MSM drug users
- Adolescence MSM (13 - 17 years old)
In November 2020, we had a health talk/prep outreach in collaboration with Heartland Alliance.
We provided financial assistance to members who were in need and are in need.
In December 2020, we held a human rights program in collaboration with Heartland Alliance in commemoration of the International Human Rights Day.

We are calling on vibrant individuals to join our team on the ACT UP NIGERIA (ILORIN) PROJECT which aims at enlightening youths residing in Ilorin (Kwara State) on the benefits of a sound sexual hygiene.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Fluency in English, Pidgin and Yoruba Languages.
-Must be a community member (HRM preferably)
-Skillfulness in mobilization is an added advantage
-Must be willing to work and adapt
-Must be a resident of Ilorin
